
Shipping info and policies
All customers are responsible for reading and understanding the following information:

Buyers are liable and responsible to read all details involving placing orders, receiving orders, and carefully reviewing all product photos and descriptions. By purchasing from our website, you are agreeing to our terms and polices. We are not responsible for any errors on the buyers end.

We ship to all lower 48 states! All live animal orders are processed and shipped via FedEx express 1-day shipping. We only ship live orders on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s to prevent any shipments getting delayed and stuck over the weekend. All live orders placed on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be shipped the following Monday. Live orders placed before 8PM EST are shipped the next day. All orders placed after 8PM EST will be shipped the day after the following day. If you would like us to ship your live order on a particular day, please fill out the “Custom Ship Date” box at checkout. The date you specify must be a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday within 7 days of the purchase day. Choosing this option means your live order will arrive the very next day after the date you specify. If you do not fill this option out, we will ship your live order the next day. Shipping costs vary between locations ($60-$100). Read our “Shipping Pricing” segment for more details. Once shipped, most live orders will arrive at the destination around 10:30AM the next day. We do not ship live orders if the weather at either our location or the location of delivery is under 45°F or higher than 90°F. We will wait until conditions are suitable to ship. If that is the case with a live order or if any other factors become problematic, we will contact the purchaser and discuss further details and arrangements. For every live order shipped to a residential address, we ask for an individual to be present and ready to receive the package. If this cannot be the case on the purchasers end, our Live Arrival Guarantee is no longer valid. (Please see “Live Arrival Guarantee” segment for details)
After orders are placed, we will send an email confirming the delivery/shipping date. If there’s an issue, please reply to the email as soon as possible.

Shipping live orders costs between $60-$100. Shipping costs are automatically calculated and applied at checkout. We are based out of central Indiana so the further an order has to go, the higher shipping costs will be. Pricing is set different from state-to-state based on average costs. We can calculate and provide exact location-based shipping costs for customers if requested, but that requires placing the order through our social media pages or through our email. Just send us a message and we will request and discuss any needed info/details as soon as we can. We only ship live orders using FedEx express 1-day shipping, which also affects the cost. The health and safety of the animals being shipped is #1 priority!

All live animal orders from us are assured to arrive alive and healthy. All animals sold here at Hoosier Herp Lab are 100% healthy and in perfect physical condition, which is why we are confident all animals will arrive alive and healthy. For every order shipped to a residential address, we ask for an individual to be present and ready to receive the package. If this is not the case on the purchasers end, our Live Arrival Guarantee is no longer valid. If for some random, unfortunate, and rather unlikely incident occurs in which the animal we shipped to you arrives dead, we require a photo confirmation within 30 minutes of the delivery confirmation. Otherwise, a refund or replacement is not valid. If followed through correctly in a case like that, a replacement animal can be sent out. If we do not have a replacement, we may offer a refund.

All Hoosier Herp Lab merch is dropshipped through Printful.com
Merch orders typically take between 2-5 days to get manufactured. Shipping on merch orders averages between 4-10 days depending on the product and destination.
If any issues happen with a merch order during shipping or if a product comes in defected or damaged, please email or message us with details and we will try our best to resolve whatever issue is at play. We may ask for photo proof so we can meet Printful’s return/exchange guidelines. We do not do size exchanges or returns due to buyers remorse. We are also not responsible for incorrect delivery addresses or stolen packages.
All products offered have been personally sampled before we upload them to our store for purchase to ensure quality is met. We do our best to stay away from cheap, low quality products!
